States! States! States!

Would you like your students to learn about the states in the United States of America? I've created an activity to learn about when the states were admitted into statehood. The students must compare a U.S. map with a "Statehood" map and then record the order that each state was admitted into the Union. There is a Statehood Information Quest which helps the student synthesize their chart and map skills into a fun activity (as well as an alphabetizing activity). This activity is geared toward 5th-8th grade students.
